As well as a free eye test, the NHS also provides an optical voucher that can be used against the cost of your glasses
You will receive an Optical Voucher if you are:
» Under 16, or under 19 years of age and in full time education You are also entitled to an Optical Voucher if you (or your partner) are receiving the following benefits or credits: » Income support
» Income-based Job seeker's allowance
» Working Family's Tax Credit
» Disabled person's Tax Credit
